A shield tag is an icon that represents the completion of a WALLHALLA achievement. Shield tags are added to shields in a clockwise fashion as they are completed*. A publicly visible historical ledger of all tags earned across all users is kept in conjunction with the shields on WALLHALLA.

*There are two different types of shield tags; Tiered and Standalone.
Tiered Tags represent achievements that are "upgraded" as further milestones are reached. The original tag will remain in position but is altered to reflect the progress made (eg. Subscriber Milestones, Donation Milestones, Gifted Sub Milestones)
Standalone Tags are one off achievements that are added in the next available slot. (eg. VIP, Moderator, Channel Point Redemption)
Each shield tag (including tiers) has it's own Shield Value or SV. The total SV of all shield tags attached to a shield denotes the overall SV of that shield. (eg. You have 4 tags with shield values of 5, 3, 1 and 1. Your shield's SV is 10). This number will be used for WALLHALLA leader-boards and planned future reward structures.
