What is WALLHALLA?
WALLHALLA is a perpetual timeline that highlights all significant milestones & achievements that family members complete over the lifetime of the stream. When you reach a milestone or complete an achievement you are invited to forge your own custom viking shield that will mark that event and all subsequent events. Each achievement has it's own unique shield tag; a visual icon that signifies which achievement has been completed. Every time you complete an achievement, the corresponding shield tag is added to your existing shield on the wall. Your unique shield will eventually be integrated across the entire VANDERWOOD platform in the form of emotes/badges on discord and twitch, interactive stream overlays as well as custom designs in the merch store. This system provides a stunning visual history of the community's involvement in the stream, but more importantly allows VANDERWOOD to recognise and reward individuals for their deeply valued and appreciated support. The first 100 subscribers to submit a shield will earn themselves an exclusive, individually numbered, Tag of Odin. This is open to all subscribers until 100 shields have been submitted so get in fast to secure your historical spot on the wall!

How do I get a shield?
To forge your own shield you must complete one of the achievements or milestones listed here. Once this is done, head to the Shield Forge and follow the instructions.
NOTE: During the Launch Event, all subscribers are invited to forge their own shield until 100 shields have been submitted. Check out the Launch Event here.
I've completed an achievement. Now what?
In most cases VANDERWOOD will be aware of achievements that you have completed as they happen. When you complete an achievement, simply head to the Shield Forge and follow the instruction. If you already have a shield, a new shield tag will be added to your shield on the next WALLHALLA update.
What happens if my achievement is missed?
If you think an achievement has been missed, you can contact VANDERWOOD directly during a live stream or via email at shields.wallhalla@gmail.com. Please include your twitch username, the title of the achievement, the approximate time of completion (if known) and any other information you have regarding the claim. We will get back to you as soon as possible!
How often is WALLHALLA updated?
WALLHALLA is updated weekly on Thursday (Melbourne Time - AEDT/GMT+10)
Once I complete an achievement, how long do I have to submit my shield?
WALLHALLA is first come first served so you can forge and submit your shield at your own leisure however in that time other shields will be placed ahead of yours until your shield is submitted.
Can I change my shield later if I don't like it?
At this point in time there is no option to change your shield if you change your mind. So forge wisely!
Is there going to be an app for WALLHALLA in the future?
Yes, there will eventually be an app that tracks your shield progress and achievements once the stream can support the development of such a system.
I'm having trouble creating my shield. Can you make one for me?

What is "Shield Value/SV"?
Shield Value/SV is the numerical value given to both shield tags and shields. The harder the achievement, the higher the SV. The combined total SV of all shield tags earned by a family member is their overall SV. This number will eventually be used for leader-boards and for rewarding people in the VANDERWOOD FAMILY.
