What are VALOR POINTS?
VALOR POINTS (VP) are VANDERWOOD's own unique subscriber only loyalty points that underpin all the elements of the VANDERWOOD platform. They are primarily used to highlight and recognise the most loyal and honorable within the VW Family. Almost every interaction and involvement across the VW platform rewards family members with VP that are utilised by each element in different ways. You can earn VP by watching live streams, spending twitch channel points, buying official VW merch, participating in competitions and events or even by just being subscribed.
There are so many ways to gain VP so keep an eye out for the VP hexagon logo for more opportunities to earn. Read more below for all the unique ways VP interacts with all the elements of the platform!
NOTES:
You have to be subscribed at any tier to earn Valor Points and have an ongoing VP account.
In the future, VANDERWOOD plans to integrate VP into a premium, in-app reward system so be sure to get in now and start racking up your valor!
VALOR POINT HEXAGON LOGO
Twitch is the easily the best place to earn Valor Points. The two ways to earn VP through twitch is by being subscribed and spending Favour of the Gods (FoG) channel points. Tier I Subs earn 1000 VP per month, Tier II Subs earn 2000 VP per month and Tier III Subs earn 6000 VP per month. As for Channel Point Rewards (CPR), family members earn 0.5 VP per 1 FoG spent. Note that you must be a current or past subscriber to earn VP in this way.
RECOGNITION
There are three ways in which Valor Points integrate and with Wallhalla. Primarily this is through the TAG OF TYR; the shield tag that tracks lifetime VP earned by each family member and through the Battle of Midgard MVP Tags rewarded for most VP earned during a Battle of Midgard Season. The other way is through Shield Value (SV). For every 10 SV earned, family members receive 3000 VP.

REWARD
Valor Points are a direct measure of YGGY progress. For every 1000 VP earned, you climb another level of the reward tree.
RIVALRY
During a Battle of Midgard (BOM) season, Valor Points measure the success of each family member and their respective clan with every VP earned going towards both individual and clan season totals. The Clan with the highest VP earned during a season is declared the winner. The highest individual VP earner for each clan is awarded a Clan MVP shield tag. The family member with the highest VP earned across all Clans is awarded a BOM MVP shield tag. Valor Point Season totals are wiped at the beginning of each new season.
